This week’s podcast will focus on the answer of how God wants to bring you out of a dark season and restore everything the enemy has stolen by using PRAISE! But not just any kind of praise!
Have you ever had a trial that seemed to come in threes? Have you ever had a back-to-back trial that did not give you time to catch your breath from the first one? Do you feel like you’re in a wilderness, and you keep going around that same mountain over and over? Well, if you said YES….then I have the answer for you!
The answer is……PRAISE!
Isaiah prophesied, and Jesus quoted it! Jesus is the ONE bringing the freedom and proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord!
Right now, at this moment, Jesus is saying, “I will give you beauty for ashes, I will give you hope for hopelessness, I will give you joy for sadness, I will give you a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness and depression!
The one thing the enemy is after is your praise!!! You may ask, “How can I praise when my heart is broken into a million pieces or when it feels like my life is falling apart, or when you have experienced sickness that left you empty?”
I get it! I’ve been there! That’s why I want to share this WORD with you!
Did you know there are seven Hebrew words for praise? I want to talk to you about TWO of the words out of the seven!
- TEHILLAH: To sing a spontaneous, unrehearsed song of the Lord from your spirit.
- Hālal: (“acclaim, boast”) supremely expresses uncontainable, exuberant praise of Yahweh and His works. Such praise celebration is jubilant and highly intentional – “making an open boast of, acclaim in a celebrating way, to glory (exult) in.”.
ISAIAH 61 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise (Tehillah) for the spirit of heaviness;
This kind of Tehillah praise has really been speaking to me in this season of my life. And I have learned that this kind of praise will lead to the kind of praise in Joel 2: 26 which is a Hallelujah praise Halal….“And you shall have plenty to eat and be satisfied, And praise (Halal) the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you;
Put on the garment of spontaneous, musical prayers, unrehearsed song of the Lord from your spirit.
When you praise and worship Jesus with spontaneous, unrehearsed words that have a melody to it, it has the power to lift depression!
Turn your prayers into songs and melodies of worship to the Lord spontaneously! The spirit of heaviness cannot take it! Heaviness will shake and crumble and it will be cast out by worship! I have seen it! Take a listen to this week’s podcast. You will be so inspired by the word of God.
