HOST: DR. PAULA McDONALD

AUDIO PODCAST

What is prayer? The act of prayer is an open, willing heartfelt conversation with God, thanking Him for what He has done in my life and others around me. And daily prayer doesn’t have to be long, drawn-out, or difficult. Once I recognize and give God my gratitude, I can entirely focus on my request and petitions.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Oh, the peace that comes from the practice of connecting with God is unimaginable. If you haven’t experienced it, start today with the three simple “P’s of prayer.
