Romans 12:1 “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is your true and proper worship.” This verse from Romans reminds us that exercise CAN be not only a form of self-care but a way of expressing gratitude to God, our Maker. Our bodies were designed to move, in order to stay supple, strong, flexible, and mobile. Sedentary lifestyles cause us to lose strength. Over time, inactivity will cause our bodies to become vulnerable to weakness, illness, and disease.
