AUDIO PODCAST
Our interview today is with Kenyon Zitzka. Several months ago Kenyon invited me on his podcast Zero Xcuses to discuss fatherhood. I thought it was an excellent conversation so I wanted to share it with you this week.
A little bit about Kenyon:
“I’m just an ordinary dude looking to live an extraordinary life.
That wasn’t always the case, however. From an early age, I thought that if I worked harder than the next guy and checked all the boxes society told me I should check, that I’d be successful in life.
I’ve completed trade school, earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering, spent 20+ years in the US Navy sailing around the globe and countless other experiences & accomplishments that I am most certainly grateful for. Through all of that, there’s been something missing, however. I always had this longing for a certain type of freedom that I couldn’t quite put my finger on until recently.
What was missing was that I wasn’t living my life fully on my own terms. I was struggling to find the space in my life to do the things I enjoy doing, spend time with people I care about most and to spend time on myself. So, that’s why I started Zero Xcuses. At that moment I just described, I told myself that I would ‘Never Settle’ for the status quo. I made a firm commitment to make the changes I needed to make in my life in order to have the time, energy and money to live my life exactly how I want to live it.
It’s my mission to help alpha men build rock-solid discipline so they can regain control over their time, build wealth, improve their health and forge positive, meaningful relationships. If you’re ‘just trying to pay the bills’, ‘getting one day closer to retirement’, or feel stuck because life dealt you unfair hand then you are in right place! I’ll be writing and talking about the various tools, strategies, tactics and other things I’ve personally utilized to get the most out of life and to help others around me achieve the goals they set for themselves.”
