BUILDING STRONG HOMES podcast

HOST: CAROL ROPER

Today’s guest is someone I’m privileged to introduce you to, my daughter, Elise Roper. Elise has such an amazing testimony of how God took some deeply painful disappointments in her life and strengthened her faith and trust in Him. The most difficult one being her fiancé breaking off their engagement after almost all of the wedding had been planned and deposits paid for. We talked about that horrible time in her life and how God gave her the opportunity to restore a 133 year old house in the middle of our little town and used that to help heal her broken heart. After the future she thought she would have turned to ashes. We share how we worked together to bring beauty and life back to the old home and how it represented Elise’s own journey in tearing out the pain and restoring her own life.
