I’m calling for My children
To return to Me,
To their FIRST LOVE
When I saved you and set you free.
I’m calling for you
To set aside your will,
That it may be
My destiny that you fulfill.
I’m calling you
To lay yourself once more upon My Altar.
Will you come willingly,
Or will you falter?
I’m calling you
To rise up in this hour.
To walk boldly as lions
Filled to overflowing with My power.
I’m calling you
To spend time in prayer.
There are those who need you!
Will you be there?
I’m calling you
To fall upon your knees.
Lift up your voices!
Let Me hear your pleas!
I’m calling you
To turn now, it’s time.
Will you give Me your life?
Will you say it’s Mine?
I’m calling for you
To let go of everything here,
And choose what’s in My heart
And what I hold dear.
I’m calling you
To return to your FIRST LOVE!
Will you daily look to Me
With your eyes and heart fixed above?
SCRIPTURE:
Zechariah 1:3 So tell the people that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Return to Me,’ declares the LORD of Hosts, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the LORD of Hosts
PRAYER:
Father God,
I am returning to You, my first love. I have heard Your call and I am saying, “Yes!” I am willingly setting everything else aside that I may spend time with You, Father God. Lead me this day on the path that You choose for me to walk. I am listening for what You long to say. I long to know what You desire to tell me. I long to see what You long to show me. Reveal to me Your heart today O God, for I long to know how I can minister to You today. I long to bless You and to be a blessing to You. Use me today for Your Glory, Father. Guide my steps. Help me to be quick to speak to those You want me to speak to. Touch my lips that I may only speak that which edifies and builds others up. Let me be a bridge of Hope leading them to You. May they only see You when they look at me. You are my first love and You will always be my priority. Help me to walk worthy of the call You have placed upon my life. May I bring You joy today, my Lord and my King. Amen.
