Mothers Come In Many Forms

The impact of mothers in our lives is undeniable, and it is not just our birth mothers who leave a print on our hearts. Mother figures arrive in our lives in many forms: godmothers, grandmas, guardians, spiritual coverings, mothers-in-love, aunts, sisters, and friends.

No matter what the official relationship, these special ladies have held us, wiped our tears (and/or our behinds), given us advice, lent us their hands, cheered us on, and made us overall better humans.

For those of us who have children to parent, these mother figures have been role models for us. Their faith has reminded us to lean on God, their kindness has reminded us how to gently respond, their laughter has reminded us to find joy even in the hardest times, and their patience has reminded us to slow down and soak in every bit of life.

The Kingdom Winds Crew is thankful for all those who have mothered us well. We celebrate with you as you remember the special ladies in your life!

Happy Mother’s Day!
