Molded and Refined

Sometimes it takes being broken to build beauty, to be refined, to be MOLDED.

Posted on

Unfortunately, I spent a lot of my early adult life trying to be everything to everyone.

I tried to create the person that I thought other people wanted me to be. I tried to please the whole world.

However, I failed miserably to recognize that I was never being true to myself. I failed in knowing God.

I used to lack in FAITH the ability to see who Jesus created me to be.

It was only through shards of pain and brokenness that the true LIGHT of the world provided me a way to open my eyes.

You see… Sometimes it takes being broken to build beauty, to be refined, to be MOLDED.

This new awareness caused me to lose friendships. Even people that I loved, in my own family, didn’t appreciate the NEW creation I was in CHRIST.

I was left standing alone.

I have been mocked, laughed at, and in some cases, made into the enemy of those I once shared a dinner table with.

Maybe they found it threatening… or maybe they just too lack the faith to see themselves the way HE intends?

Either way, I found myself very alone and on a new journey seeking my everlasting life.

The one God intended from the beginning.

Are you on a FAITH journey?

BELIEVE

When God transforms, HE transforms your whole being. There is not even a small part of you that remains the same. The difference in you is what sheds the light. The light is meant to draw others in… However, some still will choose to turn away. Remember, the rejection is not about you. It’s about them.

Don’t let others shape you and form you. That was God’s job from the beginning.

Isaiah 64:8

Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Jeremiah 18:4

But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.
