What a gift we are blessed to celebrate this Christmas Day! For “today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord,” (Luke 2:11, NIV).
The Old Testament longed for this day as generations of Adams tried to redeem flesh for glory. But they could only pray for His coming, only prophesy what was to come.
“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel” (Numbers 24:17, NIV).
And while many rose every morning to pray for His arrival, they went to sleep each night not knowing Him. But we, sisters and brothers, woke up today in joyous celebration; because we know the truth—the Messiah has come. Emmanuel is here. God is not just for us—He is with us now for certain.
So come, let us all adore Him. May we feast with loved ones and rejoice over the Word. Let us celebrate this good news because the waiting is over. The wondering is done. Christmas is here and Jesus has come!
From all of us at Kingdom Winds, Merry Christmas to you and yours. May God richly bless you today with His presence in your midst.
