Marked in time
And written down
He waits for you
He has your crown.
He knows your name
You are His prize
He knows the hour
You will arrive.
It’s been so long
For you, it seems
You’ve lived a life
Not as you please.
He saved you
With a purpose clear
He led you here,
He led you there.
So marked in time
You’ve fit His plan
You’ve been His feet
You’ve been His hands.
You’ve heard His call
And did obey
You brought a meal
Without delay.
You’ve made Him known
It was your choice
You listened well
You heard His voice.
You’ve taught His Word
You’ve gone when sent
You’ve held a hand
Of a dying friend.
You’ve loved a neighbor
And fed her kids
You’ve calmed a child
That threw a fit!
You listened well,
He’ll say, “well done!”
But most of all
When that day comes.
You’ll enter in
Because you chose,
He died for you
And then arose.
He is so big
You are so small
And yet you’re part
Of His big plan
‘Cause you’re the glove
That fits His hand!
