I truly believe that God has given every person a breath-taking purpose and destiny. God has given each person talents, abilities, prophetic words, and a set of giftings to help them accomplish His plans and assignments for them. However, the problem is most people don’t have any fight in them. Matthew 11:12 says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” If we are going to see the Kingdom of God advanced, we must be willing to fight.
The enemy never goes to war if there are not any spoils. The last thing he wants to see is sons and daughters of God doing everything they are called to do. We must fight for our purpose and destiny if we want to walk in the fullness God has for us. We should never be afraid of engaging in the spiritual battles we face because God has never lost a battle. He’s not going to start now. If you’re losing it is by your choice. You have all of Heaven on your side. There are far more with you than against you.
Let your faith override your fear in this season. To do great exploits for the Kingdom of God we must be willing to get violent in the spirit! The Bible says that the righteous are as bold as a lion. Don’t let the enemy steal your roar! You must have great faith and perseverance in order to move forward. Psalm 23:4 talks about walking through the valley of the shadow of death. The key word here is shadow. The enemy will do anything he can to try to intimidate you so that you will shrink back in fear on the journey toward your destiny. However, you must always remember, it’s only a shadow! Don’t allow fear to hold you back from seeing the Kingdom of God advanced in and through your life. One of the saddest things I have ever encountered is people who live in regret because they weren’t willing to fight for what God had promised them. You don’t want to live a life like that. Living in obedience to God and walking with Him is an adventure. Go for every single thing that God has placed in your heart.
In this season, those with fight in them will be the ones God uses. Those willing to attack their insecurities, tackle their fears, and push past roadblocks are the ones who will take back ground from the enemy in this hour. Get ready to go for your calling, your God-given dreams, and charge into battle with the prophetic words God has given to you. Now is the time for you to stand up and fight with the force of the Spirit of God living on the inside of you.
Spend time in the presence of the Lord. Set aside special time to fast and pray. Get forceful with the Word of God. The Word is called a sword because it is our weapon to use against the enemy! This is your season to fight with the Word of God and with the prophetic words God has spoken over your life. This is your now season. You can do everything God has called you to do and you can be everything he’s called you to be. It is time for Kingdom violence!
