Bekah shares some summertime fun activities to make the most of your last days of summer.

Are you looking for some summer fun?  Try one of these activities!

1. Go swimming!

Cool off in a lake, river, or pool!  It’s so nice to cool down and have fun after a hot summer day!

2. Go hiking!

In the summer, there are all sorts of cool creatures out! Find a toad or a frog near a pond, or look for a turtle taking a swim! Maybe even a woodchuck getting a fur tan! But be careful since this weather also draws out pesky bugs, so wear sunscreen AND bug spray!

3. Make a Lemonade stand!

Everybody loves lemonade on a hot day! Set up a small lemonade stand in your front yard and have a parent or guardian help you make an extra bit of cash!

4. Visit a Zoo!

Summer days are great days to go to a zoo! Maybe the animals can help you find ways to cool off! Cheetahs rest in the shade while pigs and hippos get a mud bath!

5. Enjoy Popsicles!

“Ding, do, doodly, dum!” I hear the Ice cream man! That’s a great way to cool off! If there are no ice cream trucks where you live, ask your parents to get you ice cream or popsicles!

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did making it!
