OPINION – A few days ago, Joe Biden read a statement from a White House podium calling the military withdrawal from Afghanistan an “extraordinary success.”
Although many have almost become numb to his disgraceful words, such as hearing him boast about putting together “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics”—I believe that this particular characterization truly speaks volumes about the man and his heart.
The withdrawal mission, planned by his administration and ordered by him, resulted in the Taliban immediately seizing control of Afghanistan.
The order for our military to immediately vacate the territory led to the murder of a large and growing number of civilians.
Thirteen of our brave military men and women were killed in the chaotic aftermath.
It appears that thousands of Americans have been abandoned and left behind with reports that our own State Department even blocked attempts to rescue large numbers of them.
Pallets of United States currency were left behind in neat stacks to fund the Taliban—bringing back awful memories of a previous President’s $1.7 billion ransom payment to Iran.
An arsenal of weaponry sufficient to make the Taliban a leading military power in the world was abandoned for them to scoop up and use to terrorize the world. On top of the billions in cash, the spoils of surrender reportedly included 600,000 weapons, 75,000 vehicles, and 200 aircraft. There are new accounts that much of this equipment is now being moved to Iran.
What many experts have called a “Kill List” was handed over to the Taliban by the illegitimate Biden Regime, detailing the names of Americans and Afghani allies left behind.
Trillions of dollars of untapped raw minerals likely now belong to the Taliban and, some speculate, to their new communist ally to the east.
Reports are circulating about Christians and interpreters being hunted down, tortured, maimed, and killed.
Twenty years of our soldiers’ sacrifice, bloodshed, dismembered bodies, and battle scars were spat upon in one brazen, wicked command.
What we are witnessing is not incompetence or dementia on display—it is intentional. It is pure evil for all to see.
The entire world instantly became an immensely more dangerous place. The groundwork has been laid for a true world war as we have never seen before. Perhaps Biblical.
Actions are louder than words, but when the words call those evil actions good—we know the spirit that is at work.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! — Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
