I sought you
From the start
I gave you everything
I gave you My heart.
I sought you
To come and walk with Me
To share a life
That was destined to be.
I sought you
And called you My own
I’m still with you today
You are never alone.
I sought you
To speak My Word
Share what you’ve seen
Share what you’ve heard.
I sought you
To bring the Light
Stand up for Truth
Do what is right.
I sought you
To tear down the wall
Free those who are bound
Answer the call.
I sought you
And I seek you still
Will you give Me your all?
Will you surrender your will?
I sought you
And now I am blessed by you
For I find that
You are seeking Me too.

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8
PRAYER:
Father God,
Thank You for seeking me. Daily You look to see if I’ll be found seeking You, and I am, Lord God. I am seeking You with all my heart. I’m seeking Your face, not just Your hand of blessing, but Your Presence Lord. I long to dwell with You. I long to know You more deeply and more intimately than I do now. I long to know what brings You joy, what ministers to Your heart. I long to know what causes you to smile and to laugh. And as painful as it is, I long to know what brings You sadness and pain too Father. For the things that matter to You, that touch Your heart, may they touch me in the same way, that I may be the very image and likeness of You. So today Lord, I pray for a greater revelation of Your heart. May I dwell there today with You. May I be changed by what You show me and teach me. This is my prayer. Amen.
