I Only Have Eyes for You

He’s called us to run our kingdom race, our feet must be free from any hindrance or noose.

Remember the first time we said those words?  It denotes true love, to our one and only.

Jesus, our Bridegroom-King, loves to hear those words from us.  We tell him our eyes are ever on you and He tells us, “My gaze is upon you.”

Our champion King watches over us, to release us from any snare or trap that will be set.

This is why we must say, “My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare.  (Psalm 25: 15)

He carries them and wraps His sheet of glory around them, protecting us. We have to watch where our feet take us.  Why?  He’s called us to run our kingdom race, our feet must be free from any hindrance or noose.

He tells us, “Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.”  (Proverbs 4: 26)

KINGDOM PRINCIPLE:  The paths we choose to take will pave the way for a firm road ahead of taking territory.  Being firm in our decisions makes us sure-footed.

We’ve been given eyes and feet for our King.
