He Reigns Over the Earth

We do our part, He does His. He is not silent forever.

When we turn on our television news do we see the reigning Lord?  Not really, we see destruction, devastation, fires, division, and hatred.  Lawlessness, rioting, and violence are part of what we see in our cities, now.  Hope seems to be fading if we look through our natural eyes.

Where do we go for hope?  To His Word!  We can be reminded there that He rules and still reigns and He has a part to play in this.  We do our part, He does His. He is not silent forever.

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.  Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.  Fire goes before Him and consumes His foes on every side.  His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.  The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.  The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all people will see His glory.”  (Psalm 97: 1-6)

  • The Lord reigns over all.
  • He is supreme, our supreme judge of all the earth.

What we see with our natural eyes currently, is not the final result of the Lord’s reign.

In all the devastation, He is ruling over.

In all the wickedness, He is watching.

In all the uncertainty, He has a plan.

In all the division, He shall separate, divide, and unite.

What is our role in all of this?  “Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of the faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.”  (Psalm 97: 10)  Keep looking up!  (Shared from Psalm 97, Modified)

The Lord Reigns Over The Building

The builders of the temple wall are all positioned and put in place ready to carry out their assignments, to start rebuilding.  Each builder’s name and location are listed, starting at the Sheep Gate and proceeds in a counterclockwise direction around the wall.

Forty key men are named in the construction of about forty-five sections.  Ten gates are named.  The importance of mentioning these gates was because it was where the enemy’s assaults were always concentrated.

  • Open gates attract open assaults.
  • There are gates, open doorways, that need to be closed.
  • Repair the gate that’s been torn down and close the door to those things that welcomed his access and has caused destruction.

In the new Jerusalem, the new heaven, “Your gates will always remain open, they will never shut.”  (Isaiah 60: 11)

Why?  “No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction will be in your borders, but you will call your walls salvation and your gates Praise.”  (Isaiah 60: 18)

Yes, Lord open up the doors, gateways, to our hearts to worship and praise!

The Psalmist proclaimed, “Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in.”  (Psalm 24: 7)  (Shared from Nehemiah 3, Modified)

“There is a sound going forth, it’s the sound of praise that shall resound in all the earth. It’s the sound of celebration of what the Lord has done and who He is.

He is above all.

He is for all.

He is to be praised.

He is to be glorified.

He is Lord of heaven and Lord of earth.

He is Lord over all.

Let Him in.  Let Him come in.  Open up the house to praise!

Let the sound, resound; to set free those captive and bound.

Open up your hearts, open up your gates; and make no mistakes.

It’s time to assemble and praise, with all our hearts, hands lifted and raised.

Our soon coming King is Lord of all; He delights when we come, restored from the fall.

He’s building His church, His beloved Bride; To rule and reign right by His side.

So know the Lord will rule and reign; It’s His good pleasure to keep us all sane.

He comes to take us with Him to that place; that place of open heavens, His holy space.

So keep coming close to His side; be ready and willing to always reside.

For all this hate will be erased; as we join Him as ruler, face to face.

So as we wait for this glorious day, arise and work for others to come and stay.

There are many more that need to come; I’ve given you the tools, to bring in some.

So prepare and love like never before, for the King of Glory has opened the door.

There’s a portal of heaven that’s open for you; to invite every man, woman, Gentile and Jew.

The call has gone forth to complete and to turn; where My name is established before I return.

It’s time to address, cleanse and restore; for I’ve give you promises to help, ask for more!

So as you rebuild and bring forth My Word, you shall see and embrace your great reward.

Keep looking up, My Spirit will show you the way; where My rule and reign shall be seen on that day!

The Lord Reigns Over The Churches

As you remember the churches where my love was expressed, remember the covenant that keeps you above the rest.

I am speaking to bring you back to your first love in Me, where I desire to surround you, keeping you close as can be.

So as you adhere to my Word and my call, keep your passion and unconditional love, above over and all.

Your diligence, and hard work keep always in place, be faithful and true never neglecting my face.

Your time before Me on your knees, causes all of heavens angels able to see me so pleased.

Your hands are anointed, continually appointed, pouring love out to all that are feeling disjointed.

As you gather them in, urging the release of their sin, I’m hearing every word eager to say, “Please Come In.”

He who has an ear, let him hear what I say, listen to my Spirit, He’ll urge you to obey.  (Shared from Revelation 2, modified)
