He Knows Your Name

Of all the issues you are facing in the natural and spiritual- place it all in His hands.

This morning I was feeling overwhelmed. Many tasks needing to get done. I heard the Lord say to me, “I know your name.”

His peace immediately melted away the preoccupation I had with being busy, and my perspective shifted to being in a place of rest in the Lord. I felt the Holy Spirit’s sweet presence come over me like a warm and gentle blanket.

I found rest amidst my very busy day, and nothing mattered but being in His presence. My “to-do” list went from a ten to the “One” who knows my name.

There are many going through trying times in addition to the demands of the busy holiday season.
Remember, beloved, if this is you, the Lord is saying to you right now, “I know your name.”

Stop and think about how truly wonderful and comforting that is. It doesn’t matter how many people there are here on Earth. God almighty, creator of the universe, God, our Heavenly Father, knows your very name. Of all the issues you are facing in the natural and spiritual- place it all in His hands.

Do this as a prophetic act-
Name every concern of yours and place each one of them into the Lord’s capable hands right now. Leave them there. Now go about your day with that truth in mind.

This is what He says to us:

Luke 12:7
‘Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Psalm 139:1-24
“O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.”

Jeremiah 12:3a
“But you, O Lord, know me; you see me, and test my heart toward you.”

Jeremiah 17:10
“I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds”

Psalm 139:8
“If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.”

You matter to Him, even what concerns you. He is perfecting that too.

The Bible says this in Psalms 138:8

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”

Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare,e, and tranquility.

He calls you His own. He will and is taking care of you, and all that concerns you. May His Shalom be upon you in this moment, in this season, in Jesus’ Name.
