Good Times – Prayer

Will you pray?

Posted on

We are on an amazing journey together!

We have determined to turn this “hard time” into a rousing yet sacred “good time”!

We have made stops along the way to “good times” that have included worship and generosity.

Today, we are going to linger over the captivating view that can only be seen from the vantage point of prayer.

Will you stop here with me for just a minute and linger over the panorama that can be ours if we simply choose to pray?

Will you pray?

In days like these, I have discovered that one doesn’t need to listen very long nor very intently in order to hear the voice of the Father.

He is speakingare you listening?

I have heard Him say, “Will you pray?”

In times like these, we will either strengthen our prayer life or we will weaken our faith with rampant and unneeded worry.

I will choose to pray.

Prayer can turn hard times into good times!

Prayer is able to eradicate a virus and to bring revival upon a nation.

Prayer is the petri dish for a miracle.

My friend, you will never make it through this pandemic if you don’t pray. Never!!

Oh, and by the way, you will never make it through anything if you don’t pray! Never!!

Prayer is the key to everything! EVERYTHING!

Prayer is the key that fits perfectly into the gates of heaven’s glory and wonder.

Prayer is the password that unleashes the wisdom and the miracles of heaven.

Prayer is the vehicle through which you are made more Christ-like. You will go into your prayer closet looking just like you … and you will come out looking just like Him!

Prayer will enable you to experience the fullness of heaven while living in the confines of planet earth!

Prayer ushers the atmosphere of heaven into an earthbound life.

Get on your knees … lift your hands in worship … breathe deeply … and take a look around you! All things have been made new in His presence!

Prayer accesses the goodness of God!

Prayer unwraps all of the gifts that God has for you today. Prayer is Christmas morning for a believer in Christ! We are utterly gobsmacked by the abundance that is ours as we gather around His presence and His power!

Prayer pushes back the darkness of the enemy.

Did you know that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit? It is in you that the fullness of the Godhead now dwells!

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” – I Corinthians 3:16

And Jesus, when He was on earth living and dwelling among us, made this declaration, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” (Matthew 21:13)

You are His temple … His dwelling place … His house.

And how did He describe your very life?

You are identified, by Jesus Himself, as a house of prayer.

Are you doing it?  Are you praying?

Prayer can miraculously revolutionize every hard time … every difficult day … every traumatic experience … into a place where His presence dwells.

Good times!

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” – II Chronicles 7:13 & 14

“When my people who are called by my name finally decide that it is time to pray, I will come running!!!”

Help – and hope – are on the way!

The enemy bows his knee at the Name of Jesus in prayer.

Prayer is the rod that parts the Red Sea.

Prayer is the supernatural glue that closes mouths of lions.

Prayer is the wonder drug that causes babies to be born … blind eyes to see … and crippled legs to walk again.

Prayer is the unmatched power that raises the dead!

Prayer is the unseen hand that stops a virus in its tracks.

The question remains … Will you pray?
