God Doesn’t Give Us More than We Can Handle?

When you are given something that is too hard to handle, give it to God. If He carried the cross, He can carry this.

Someone needs to hear this right now … someone in the midst of fear or anxiety, someone struggling with an uncertain future and a pile of debt, someone battling disease and disability. Maybe YOU need to hear this.

You see, somewhere along the line, we heard the phrase, “God won’t give you more than you can handle.” And we believed it. But then the storm came, and the burden was too much too handle. We found ourselves straining beneath the weight, trying to carry more than we could possibly bear. And we started to doubt.

But friends, hear this. Although we will often experience more than we can handle, we will NEVER experience more than GOD can handle. This is His promise to us. His STRENGTH is made perfect in our weakness. His GRACE is sufficient to carry us. He knows the valleys we will travel, and He promises to sustain us in ways that are beyond our comprehension. He is good, He is near, He is enough, and He is able.

If you’re walking through a valley right now that seems impossible, if your faith is faltering and you feel yourself falling, know this.

When you are given something that is too hard to handle, give it to God. If He carried the cross, He can carry this.
