Glory and Kingdom

Recently, early in the morning, I was in my private prayer time and sensed that something powerful was going to happen at our corporate prayer meeting later that morning. I texted a few of our prayer partners to agree with me for whatever it was that the Lord was wanting to do that morning.

Later on, in the corporate prayer time that same morning, I fell down under the power of God, slain in the spirit. During this time, I had a powerful encounter with the Lord. I heard the Holy Spirit say, “They are going to see My Kingdom. They are going to see My glory.” As I meditated on this encounter and really began to pray into it, my heart was so stirred for people to truly see the Kingdom of God and experience God’s glory in a greater measure in this season. I believe what I was sensing was God’s desire to reveal His glory and manifest His Kingdom to those who are hungry for more of Him.

As I continued to pray, I heard the Lord repeat the same two sentences to me, “They are going to see My Kingdom. They are going to see My glory.” However, this time the tone of how the Lord said it to me was heavier and even solemn. I knew from just how the Lord spoke this to me that this was a prophetic warning. I believe there are two different encounters that are coming for many in this season.

I believe some are going to see God’s Kingdom manifested in a powerful way and experience the glory of God in such a powerful way that will bring forth transformation, freedom, and greater revelation. I also believe there are going to be some that will see God’s Kingdom being manifested and see God reveal His glory in this season but they will be grieved by it because their hearts have grown cold and dull from religious duty, compromise, and the man-made structures that stifle what the Holy Spirit wants to do in and through His people.

My friends, humble yourself in this season! Get in the secret place with the Lord and allow Him to really break you out of old ways of thinking, religious bondage, and the opinions of others. God is looking for those in this season who are hungry for Him. Those that are hungry to see Him pour out His Spirit and those that desire to see true revival and awakening are the ones God will use to bring forth His Kingdom and glory in this season. Be one that is set apart and open the Spirit of God in this hour and get ready for God to reveal His glory and bring forth His Kingdom!

The apostles and prophets have been teaching what the word of God says in the Lord’s prayer, “Your Kingdom come here. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” And I believe anyone who wants to experience this powerful move of God will find themselves right in the middle of it if they will lean into the Lord in this season. Revival has become a buzzword in the church, but I believe we are about to see true revival break out in many different places wherever there are hungry people who have fully surrendered to the Lord.

So I want to encourage you to heed this prophetic warning, my friends. Be one that is hungry and properly positioned to be right in the middle of what the Lord is about to do. Don’t allow the enemy to keep you in a place of callousness or a rigid religious mindset. God is going to manifest His kingdom and His glory in this season. Make sure you are in a place to receive it! Karen Wheaton often says, “The Holy Spirit goes where He is wanted and welcomed.” Be one that wants and welcomes Him in all His power and glory. Welcome the Spirit of God to invade every area of your life and watch the Kingdom of God and the glory of God break out in and through your life in this season!
