Don’t Worry, Everything Will be Alright and Will Work out for You

When you believe in God and know what God has done for you, then you can encourage others not to worry and know it is working for you!

Romans 8:28; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Galatians 6:9

While I was unpacking my bag after arriving at work, the Holy Spirit said, “Don’t worry, everything will be alright and will work out for you.” What a mighty word to hear before starting my workday. With everything going on in my life at this appointed time, a word of reassurance is definitely needed.

How many of you know that all things work for your good? How many of you have been through something, thought it wasn’t going to work out, but then it worked out in your favor? How many of you have worried (or are worrying) yourself sick because you weren’t sure how things were going to work out, but then they worked out in your favor? Today, worry no more because everything will be alright. It’s working out for you!

You may be going through something right now and feel ready to give up. You may be going through something right now and feel ready to walk away from it all. You may be going through something right now and feel like you don’t have the strength to keep going. Don’t give up! Don’t walk away! Keep going! Though you may not see it right now, it’s working for you!

You may be worrying about how your bills will get paid with the little money that you make or have in your bank account. You may be worrying because you have yet to find a new job because your current job is being eliminated (my own testimony). You may be worrying because you, a family member, or a friend has been stricken with sickness. You may be worrying because you can’t quite understand why those close to you are causing you pain and why you are you inflicting pain upon them (it goes both ways). You may be worrying because it seems like you are always the one who gets the short end of the stick while those who do less than you are getting blessed. Regardless of the situation, don’t worry because everything will be alright; it’s working for you!

You are probably saying, “It is easy for you to say when you don’t know what I am going through.” And you know what? You are exactly right! I don’t know what you are going through, but when you believe in God and know what God has done for you, then you can encourage others not to worry and know it is working for you! See, our problem is that we want to stand on faith when it is convenient for us or when our days are bright. But when our days are dark or grey, we can’t find faith to stand on and walk around like a lost person in a dark house with no power during the storm who is stumbling over everything (let that marinate).

So today, my brothers and sisters, let go of that worrying spirit and activate your faith. Turn your worry into worship! Turn your pity into praise! You may be tired, but you will be blessed! You may want to give up, but don’t give up because your labor is not in vain and you will reap your blessing in due time! You may have endured sleepless nights, but now it is time to rest! You may have cried tears of pain, but they will now be tears of joy! You may not see how it is going to work out, but it is working out!

If God did it before, surely, He can and will do it again! Today, the pity party ends! Today, the spirits of worry and depression will flee from you! Today, peace will enter your heart, mind, and spirit! Today, you will regain your confidence and your strength and will press forward! Today, you will acknowledge that if God didn’t think you couldn’t handle what you are in, then He would not allow you to be in it in the first place! He brought you to it and will lead you through it! It is working in your favor!

Today and moving forward, you don’t have to worry because it’s working for you!
