Don’t Hang Your Harp on the Willows! The Time of Your Vindication is Near!

Beloved, I will not let you go! Pick your harp up again and begin to sing with joy!

I asked the Lord why there are SO many suffering so much right now. And why so many of His Children are facing what seems like IMPOSSIBLE situations. This world is so hard right now with such hard circumstances. The Body of Christ is crying out for help. Our hearts are broken over it all.

I had a vision of a Believer hanging a harp on a willow tree as the Bible describes in Psalm 137. The people were in captivity and had stopped praising the Lord and believed He had forsaken them. They were beside themselves with grief. In the same way, many of us have “hung up our harps on a willow” In other words, you have given up, thinking God has forsaken you. The enemy has tormented you into thinking you are forsaken and your situation is hopeless. He has taken you captive with fear.

BUT LOOK UP, Child of God! God is about to make some noise!! Take your “harps” down from the willow trees and keep praising, keep believing, and keep praying, because SUDDENLY, God is gonna move on your behalf, He has already gone before you to make a Way!!  Here is God’s promise to you! “Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying their sheaves with them!”

“Beloved. The world tells you to believe for the best and prepare for the worst. But I tell you to believe for the best and prepare for the BEST!  I am still the Miracle Worker. I am still the Way Maker. I am still the Promise Keeper. I am still the Mender of broken hearts and the One who wipes away all of your tears. I am He who is called TRUSTWORTHY. I am the Faithful One and the TRUE.

I understand, My Child, when things happen that you do not understand. I, too, wept with compassion. I am well acquainted with your griefs and sorrows. I am the God of ALL compassion. I weep when you weep, Beloved. But when men run out of answers, I am the Answer. I am never surprised or perplexed or at a loss. I am that I am. I do not change. I see the end from the beginning and I have made a way of escape!

It was for the JOY set before Him that your Savior endured the Cross. If the rulers of this age had known, they never would have crucified the Lord of Glory. For this is your victory! Your faith! This is how you fight your battles! Keep trusting, My Child. Keep believing. It is the only work that is required, to BELIEVE on the One whom God has sent.

I am not a man, that I should lie; neither the son of man, that I should change My mind: have I said, and shall I not do it? or have I spoken, and shall I not make it good? I hold you in the palm of My hand, Beloved, I will not let you go! Pick your harp up again and begin to sing with joy! For many are the afflictions of the righteous, but I deliver you from them ALL!

The kingdom of darkness is trembling, for I am rising up on your behalf! I am about to make some EARTH SHATTERING NOISE! YES! Suddenly, marvelously, when you least expect a miracle, in the twinkling of My Eye, I shall turn things around! I shall shatter the plans of the enemy. I shall fill your mouths with laughter once again! Out of your test shall come a testimony!

For I declared the former things long ago and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass. And so shall it be now Beloved. Look up, My Child! For I am able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the HOLY SPIRIT POWER that works in you! Raise a Hallelujah in the presence of your enemies for I am about to bring forth your Vindication! SUDDENLY, your tears shall turn into Shouts of Joy!”

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and your VINDICATION is from Me, declares the LORD!”

VINDICATION:

1. To justify; to clear from accusation; prove to be real or true.

2.  To maintain or defend with success; to prove to be valid; to assert convincingly; to sustain against assault; as, to vindicate a right, claim, or title.

3. To support or maintain as true or correct, against denial, censure, or objections; to defend; to justify.

4. To maintain, as a law or a cause, by overthrowing enemies.

5. To liberate; to set free; to deliver.

6. To avenge; to punish; as, a war to vindicate or punish the enemy.

Psalm 137:2 There on the willows we hung our harps, 3 for there our captors requested a song; our tormentors demanded songs of joy: “Sing us a song of Zion.”4 How can we sing a song of the LORD in a foreign land?

They hung up their harps. Harps here means a type of ministry, destiny, purpose, and future. They were captives physically, emotionally, and intellectually. To them, God was far away and wasn’t going to return.”  -Pastor Ed Delf
