Recently as I was in a time of prayer, I felt the power and the presence of God come in a strong way. I knew the Lord was going to show me something that I was going to be a prophetic word for so many people in this season. Then as I kept praying, I felt the anointing. I was in a place that is known for breakthrough and I knew this was the anointing of the ministry whose service I was in. Then the Holy Spirit said, “Don’t go back.” I believe that is exactly what the Lord is saying over so many believers in this hour.
Many have been through difficult seasons where they have felt delayed and discouraged. However, you are about to see a shift in your life and in whatever area or areas you have been seeking the Lord about. You may be tempted to go back now because you’ve felt like the promise may never come. But my word to you today is do not give up and do not go back!
Many may feel tempted in these difficult seasons to go back to a sin, an old mindset, a former job, relationship or anything else from their past. Don’t go back! God led you out of where you were and delivered you because He has assignments for you that are ahead of you, not behind you. Keep moving forward to understand and understand that your God-given destiny is always going to be in front of you.
Galatians 6:8 says, “For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” What this scripture is revealing is that the harvest you reap reveals the kind of seed you planted. Whatever you are going to reap in this life is due to the kind of seeds you plant. The seeds the Holy Spirit has planted inside of you is Kingdom seed. It is a seed that will produce a supernatural harvest that will benefit not only you but everyone you come across. Galatians 6:9 says, “And don’t allow yourselves to be weary in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!” Do not lose heart in this season or give into feeling weary because your season of harvest is about to burst forth.
Isaiah 40:31 says, “ But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; And they shall walk, and not faint.” God will sustain you through every season if you will just wait upon Him. You are about to step into a glorious season of fulfilled promises and victories if you will just keep moving forward with God. If you can’t run, then jog, and if you can’t jog, then walk.
Just keep moving forward and watch what God will do! Many give up and go back to where God brought them from right before they reach their promise. The children of Israel cried out for God to deliver them from bondage in Egypt, but as soon as the journey out of captivity became difficult, they started questioning if they would ever reach the promised land and wanted to go back. Do not go back! Do not go back to the things God has delivered you from just because the promise is delayed.
This is your season to run after all that God has called you to do, so don’t turn back! The Bible even says that no person is fit for the Kingdom of God that puts his hands to the plow and then looks back. So keep your hands to the plow, keep sowing because you will reap as long as you don’t give up. This is a season of acceleration and advancement for every believer who will just keep going and refuses to go back. Keep going after God, my friends, and trust that your season of harvest will soon be here!
Don’t go back!
