Do We Know We Hold Treasure Within?

What we behold within cannot be withheld.  His glory must shine forth.

As a follower of Jesus, we contain treasure within us.  Why?  We hold Jesus within. So, within Jesus, who is our treasure, is His light, His love, His power and His grace.

What we behold within cannot be withheld.  His glory must shine forth.

The pots and earthenware (jars of clay) the scripture speaks of are our mortal bodies.

In Biblical days, it was customary to conceal treasure in clay jars.  These jars were of little value or beauty and did not attract attention to themselves or their precious contents.

Our unworthiness has been made worthy by Jesus, who is, the precious content we now have within–to have and to hold.

As I am posting this, all I can hear is this statement released at weddings, “To have and to hold from this day forward…”  Yes, Jesus, our Bridegroom King, is for us to have and to hold.  He is truly our Husband.

The immensity of power, also known as all-surpassing power, from God, is certainly not our own.  Now, we are called vessels of honor and glory who hold the life and power of God.

HOW SHOULD WE RESPOND?  Thank Him for imparting to us, His glory, honor and worthiness. Remember, we have this treasure within us.
