Hell uses people as its tools to perform unrighteous works. The tools of this dark effort are the manipulated individuals who live under a spell of deception and delusion.
The most effective form of spiritual intervention and societal change happens when human tools are taken out of the enemy’s hands by the force of redemption. This only happens when individuals have a personal encounter with the living God. That encounter should be the primary focus of our prayers and effort. Nothing else works. If our focus remains on larger impersonal issues like a preferred theology or politics or creating a unified worldview, we will miss our greatest opportunity.
The Lord dismantles the kingdom of darkness one man and one woman at a time, no matter who they are or what they believe. The real battle is always fought in the human heart, not on the noisy stage of culture. The human heart is the only place where a true and lasting victory will be secured. This is how the Lord has revived, restored, and reformed humanity throughout all of human history. He has not changed His game plan, neither should we.
