Destiny in Mind

Where do we turn, when the soul is gripped in blindness?
Is there any hope when groping about in the darkness?

Lost in a maze of unbelief and pity, we cry out for relief.
Through a fog of unbelief and doubt, the way is often lost.
Where do we turn, when the soul is gripped in blindness?
Is there any hope when groping about in the darkness?
Looking for a ray of light to be shown the way, we pray.

In the distance, a small ray of light appears on the horizon.
Accessing a crack hidden away in the heart, we ponder.
To open wider for the light to shine through, we consider.
To unlock areas closed before we collapse, we muse.
Allowing disillusions to rule before time elapses, we ponder.

Curiosity winning out, we dare to peak at what’s exposed.
As light bursts through, vision with hope emerge unopposed.
Revelation filling, envisions what’s ahead with new light shed.
As peace and joy flood, vision for tomorrow is renewed.
With hearts filled with promise, we commit to the path ahead.

Committing to Him above, destiny and purpose converge.
No longer blinded, in faith, we reach forward for what’s ahead.
Forgetting past failures and disappointments, forward we tread.
From faith to faith, we go, the way ahead continually revealed.
Brimming with confidence, vision, purpose and destiny converge.
