Dear Romancer.
Colors paint my world
as You whisper through
the ever-changing leaves,
“I love you.”
You bestow kisses
upon my cheeks
as the breeze
caresses my face.
And Your passion
washes over me
when the tides
become so high that I am immersed in them.
So I sit here
and ponder ways
in which I can repay
this courtship of my soul.
Dear Romancer.
I’ll fill the heavens with music
as I lift up my voice
in never-ending
I love Yous.
I’ll bestow kisses
upon Your feet
as I lie beside them,
tears streaking down my cheeks.
And my passion
will wash over You
when my cup overflows
from the Fountain of Life.
And we will sit here,
forever in love.
Dear Romancer.
