Dancing in the Rubble

Our faith speaks to our mountains and it is our faith that keeps us rejoicing.

Have you ever watched a young girl dancing alone? Twirling herself about like no one was watching? Not a care in the world or a trouble on her mind.

She is simply free from any kind of bondage. Her mind is in an imaginary place that one could only assume is glorious by the way she spins and sways.

This is how Jesus wants us all to dance for Him.

But,

how can we when our worlds have fallen in around us?

How can we find joy in the midst of sorrow and pain?

How do we dance in the middle of suffering?

The answer :

It is our FAITH.

Our faith shines the new light.

Our faith brings the song.

Our faith speaks to our mountains and it is our faith that keeps us rejoicing.

This is how we know God. This is how we dance.

FAITH

One simple word with the most compelling meaning of all.

A word that brings hope.

A word that brings healing.

A word that brings everything into a new and Holy Beautiful perspective.

While the world crumbles around us it is our faith that keeps us strong.

So, as the dust scatters and your floor feels like it is giving way beneath you remember that His Spirit still reigns and gives us all a new beginning.

This beginning never ends, never fails, and never decays.

The deterioration of the world doesn’t change who God is.

He speaks to our depression, our anxiety, our fear, and our betrayals and He ransoms them all.

He turns our trials into growth, our hurts into joys, and our ashes into beauty.

There is nothing God destroys that He doesn’t turn for good.

So remember today is a new day.

Dance in remembrance of Him.

I Hear His Whisper… “I watch over you at all times” (TPT)

Though a flood overtakes you, I will lift you high. Though fires burn all around you, I will be your shelter. Though many voices may speak to accuse you, I will be your peace. Haven’t I saved you a thousand times before? You see only one, but I see the many times I have rescued you, sheltered you, covered you, and protected you from your folly. I see the times where I have protected you when you weren’t even aware that you were in danger.

Take rest in your Father’s works.

Take joy in your Father’s love. This day I will open up your eyes to see My salvation. The day of the redeemer has come. My redeeming grace will be unveiled before you. This is the day where I will arise to redeem your life and fully restore it back to Me. From today forward My presence will be upon you in unmistakable ways. My face will lead your steps and protect you from all that may come against you. Though a raging flood threatens you, I will lift you high and you will see My glory, for the day of the redeemer has come.

I am a God who stands watch over you at all times. My eyes rest upon you, not just observing you but protecting you, keeping you in My care. I provide untold favors for you, guarding you against the temptation that is too great for you—all because I love you! When I consider you, My heart is stirred to act on your behalf. There is no need for worry or anxiety because My hand is upon you and I will lead you with My eyes. I ask for a deeper kind of confidence that goes beyond the moment and endures for a lifetime. Trust Me, and you will never be disappointed.

PSALM 46:8–11 (TPT)

Everyone look!

Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God. For he brings both ruin and revival.

And he’s the One who makes conflicts to end throughout the earth,

breaking and burning every weapon of war.

Surrender your anxiety!

Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations,

and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth.

Here he stands!

The Commander!

The Mighty Lord of Angel-Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us!

For Further Reflection:

Jeremiah 31:4 (NIV)

I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.

Psalm 30:11-12 (NIV)

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.
