If we knew we had a month or week to live, I suspect we would do many things differently. Undoubtedly, priorities would instantly shift.
So, some people of great faith received healing while others did not—even though they fervently asked God for it.
Does your parched, dry throat sing His praises? Do you thank Him for His grace, mercy, and forgiveness even while your stomach is growling?
In His realm of sovereign orchestration, nothing is random. He chose us even before creating us.
Dust particles danced in the dawn’s new light. They appeared to be celebrating. Why would dust celebrate?
What we think is best may not be God’s best. Our hearts’ desires may not be what God intends. What we expect may not be what God has sovereignly orchestrated.
I hate that I am part of this disgusting scene. Most sickening is the realization I did not have to be here. A prisoner to my long-term weakness.
Somehow, I instinctively knew what would happen next. Human cruelty and brutality at this mindless, frenzied level don’t stop of their own accord.
Mixing such spiritual influence and scriptural knowledge with a sneaky scoundrel provides some comical moments. Yet at the time, I didn’t see the humor in them.
