Carefree in Him
We are called to ride through life not holding on with white knuckles, eyes closed, and full of fear, but instead to ride with eyes wide open, legs swinging, and full of joy!
“It is my prayer that this little corner of our website will be an ongoing reminder of God’s goodness and sufficiency in your life.”
—Elizabeth F. Suess
We are called to ride through life not holding on with white knuckles, eyes closed, and full of fear, but instead to ride with eyes wide open, legs swinging, and full of joy!
We need the transforming power of the Truth, Jesus, to shift our paradigm. Like Paul, we should be in a place where we count everything loss but knowing Him.
Proximity changes perspective! A lamb on the shepherd’s shoulders can hear his breathing and feel his heartbeat. It is a place of intimacy. Positioned on our Shepherd’s shoulders, we are able to see things from a higher perspective, His perspective.
The voice of our Shepherd calls us to walk in faith and not in fear.
When we start to feel worn out, discouraged, and hopeless, it may mean we have strayed off course. We need to remind ourselves who and whose we are. We are daughters and sons of the most high King. We should remind ourselves where we are seated. We are seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Father.
When we “mess up” or fall short of His standards, the only choice that stands true to our Christian faith is to fess up and then clean up. As we face the whole truth about a situation and bring it into the light, God will make it clear what the necessary steps are to set things right.
