Carriers of His Glory

We must be carriers of heavenly provision (food), peace, love, oneness, truth, order, deliverance, and righteousness.

“For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the LORD.” Hanukkah 2:14

I heard in my spirit all of the noise coming from news reports and social media outlets of conflicts, fear, and tyranny. I heard the noise of divisions, anger, blame, fear, and rage— all resonating like “resounding gongs and clanging cymbals”. It was deafening. Then suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. He roared with a roar of His agape love and the shrieking clamor was silenced. It brought all confusion and noise to an abrupt stop, releasing an awareness of the glory of the Lord upon the earth.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13:1

When love is absent— only noise fills the atmosphere. That is why it is causing such a negative effect on people. Many individuals, both inside and outside of the body of Christ, are experiencing deep weariness, headaches, anxiety, aggravation, depression, and even hopelessness. The toxic bellowing is exposing the state of mankind apart from the love of God. It is revealing the hatred in people’s hearts and the absence of peace. It is preparing the way for an awareness of the glory of the Lord to come.

God’s people can change the narrative and the atmosphere that creates fear and divisions. So many have turned their focus to “issues” rather than releasing the sound of our Bridegroom— which is agape love— and it is strengthening the very issues they are focused on rather than bringing an awareness of the glory of God.

I am not suggesting that we ignore issues and put our heads in the sand— but issues have become more evident and even louder than the love of Christ— and that is wrong! A great turnaround is needed in the body of Christ. We should be carriers of love and glory of God which shifts the atmosphere, the earth, and the people so much that issues are resolved as the fear and standard of the Lord becomes the foundation of this generation.

Great Wonders are Coming

This is a time when God that God is first purifying His Church because we are carriers of His glory. His Spirit within us will pour out from us and the glory of the Lord will fill the earth. Miracles, signs, and wonders will be seen. Nations will see his glory and a global banqueting table will be set in the presence of our enemies.

In the days of Joshua, when the Levitical priests carried the Ark of the Covenant upon their shoulders to the overflowing banks of the Jordan River (to see it part), there was first a purification.

Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.” Joshua 3:5

It was harvest season when this occurred, just as it is at this time. God is about to do great wonders among us! The enemy is raging, and he is stirring up confusion, division, and great murmurings because he sees the signs of purification within God’s people, and he remembers what happens next: the promises are fulfilled! The glory of the Lord will shine brighter than the darkness of evil, the threats of tyranny, and the issues that invoke fruitless debates. Love will cause men and women to move from a position of “choosing camps” into the oneness that Jesus prayed for in John 17:21-23.

Carriers of His Glory

The enemy fears what is within those who are yielded to purification and sanctification. Just as the Ark of the Covenant carried His glory, so we too are carriers of His glory.

What was contained in the Ark of the Covenant?

It contained a golden pot of manna, miraculous provision to nourish Israel that did not come from the labor of man’s hands, but from God alone. Gold is refined and purified. The miracles will be held in refined jars not produced by the strength of man, but by the kindness of God.

The Ark also held the budding rod of Aaron, which was used to bring forth the deliverance of God’s people from the slavery of Egypt. It was the rod that turned into a snake in Pharaoh’s court. The Egyptian magi turned their staffs into snakes, but the snake that had been Aaron’s rod swallowed theirs (Exodus 7:8–10). It was also a miraculous sign of “ending divisions, complaints, and arguments” amongst the tribes; a sign of the noise being silenced and stopping unnecessary deaths.

“Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you” Numbers 17:5

The budding of the rod also indicated the blessing and choosing of the tribe of Levi. The tribe of Levi were the “set apart” ones who carried blessings with them.

Aaron and his sons were set apart following the golden calf incident ( Exod 32:26-29 ). They were blessed and chosen because their actions signified their loyalty to the covenant. We see this happening once again as God is setting apart those who are standing loyal to His covenant. Blessings follow them throughout the earth.

The third item in the Ark was the stone tablets that the commandments of God were inscribed upon. This set in place the standard of the Lord; His righteousness, truth, and order.

Is it possible that we are to be those who carry manna from Heaven in a time of great spiritual famine? Are we to carry the budding rod of Aaron that puts an end to the murmuring and complaining? Are we to carry the commandments of the Lord that raise up his standard in a world where every righteous standard has been replaced by evil? May I suggest that we are to ask for these things— to seek them and to carry them. Then, where we rest a blessing comes to all.

Be Set Apart

This is a time to allow God to separate you and set you apart as a member of His priesthood and as a son of the tribe of Levi. Do not involve yourself with those who are building golden calves or erecting towers. Do not be dismayed or swayed by the noise of Babel that is being trumpeted. And do not become a part of the noise that is void of love.

Peace is available as you are set apart. God’s righteousness and order will come upon you and your household as you are set apart, and deliverance will come. God lives in us and we must be carriers of heavenly provision (food), peace, love, oneness, truth, order, deliverance, and righteousness.

The snakes that have been sent against God’s people to bring fear and confusion will be swallowed up by the rod of Aaron. God is purifying and setting apart his sons and daughters for the time of the great harvest.

Let us see the earth filled with the awareness of the glory of the Lord! Let it start with you— when we are one “then the world will know that the Father sent his Son!” (John 17).
