Build Your Kingdom Life – Part 5

He always meets us with His mercy and grace in these broken, messy places.

Posted on

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well,” (NIV, Matthew 6:33).

This promise stands independent of, and untouched by, corrupt leaders’ whims and world economies. With the uncertainty we face on this earth and in these times, it’s worth our while to gain understanding of this promise so we can receive and apply it.

From this place, we have a solid place to stand and to base our confidence for all our provision. That is the heart of this series.

Best Buddies in Theft

Sickness and lack run together as best buddies, seeking opportunities to steal Father’s people’s God-ordained health and wealth. Lack drains life, which leaves people sick at heart, often leading to physical illness. Sickness drains resources, which can end up creating lack.

Enter Jesus.

He always meets us with His mercy and grace in these broken, messy places.

Faith Beyond Brokenness

The woman who struggled with the constant flow of blood for twelve years lost all she had. The Law required her to remain in isolation. By this regulation, she lost her relationships. She could barely function with this constant health crisis. Her energy and life were depleted with continuous nutrient loss. To top that off, she paid all her money to doctors for treatments which did not work.

Propelled by her personal faith, she lost herself in a crowd pressing to see Jesus and touched the hem (tassel) of his garment. She touched the prophetic and tangible symbol of Jesus’ right-ness. Immediately, the bleeding stopped.

Jesus immediately stopped and searched for the one who touched his right-ness by faith.

This seemed an inconsequential matter to everyone else. Peter explained to Jesus that everyone was touching him—they were in the midst of a crowd, for Heaven’s sake!

For Heaven’s sake is why Jesus stood His ground and searched for the one who’d touched him.

When she realized she could not hide, the woman came forward, shaking with fear of the consequences. The Law forbade her, in her uncleanness, to touch anyone. Yet, her faith propelled her to touch this righteous man—Jesus—which remained against the law.

Why Did He Do That?

Do you know why Jesus responded this way?

The Lord revealed to me that He wanted to give this renewal of health to her. Furthermore, He wanted her to keep it.

If she’d been left to receive in the manner The Law forced her into, Father’s ancient enemy would have started accusations against her in Heaven’s courts, and she would have lost her healing–and never received renewal of health.

More than a Stop Sign

She touched Jesus’ right-ness with her faith. That alone stopped her health crisis. However, something greater remained, which Jesus wanted to give–peace.

His rightness and His peace granted more than a stop sign to the pain. It granted full redemption to health, to soundness, to wholeness.

He recognized her out of the crowd in order to meet her personally–and to give her more than she hoped for.

A Holy Kiss

“Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other” (NIV, Psalm 85:10).

In Scripture, a kiss symbolizes agreement.

It is humanly impossible for right-ness and peace to agree. They are at odds with each other. Only in Jesus, whose completed work grants us access, do right-ness and peace agree. When they agree inside us through Him, health (and wealth) renew.

In fact, when a person’s codes (DNA, RNA, epigenetics, etc.) are right, that person is healthy. However, everyone has experienced some level of brokenness. A person’s spirit and soul entering the state of peace causes the parasympathetic nervous system to activate in the body. When the PNS functions right and in peace as Father intended, the body’s natural state of health is activated and maintained.

His Priestly Office

For those of us with Protestant backgrounds, we need to recognize that the job of the priest remained to reconcile God and man, to bless, to intercede, to worship, to teach, to prophesy, and to pronounce cleanness—the stamp of approval on health.

That’s exactly what Jesus did—and completed. Yet, He stands interceding for us (KJV, Romans 8:34). He intercedes for us to press through whatever multitudes prevent us from having access to Him and to receive fully through Him, just as the woman did.

Enthroned at the right hand of our Father, Jesus serves as High Priest in the order of Melchizedek (NASB, Hebrews 5:6; 6:20). He is King of right-ness and King of peace. Here, righteousness and peace kiss.

By virtue of being born on earth, we experience brokenness. Through personal choice, we often perpetuate brokenness.

Broken places inside keep us existing in a state of brokenness. That state of brokenness prevents us from entering and maintaining the state of health (and wealth) Father designed us to have.

Jesus’ right-ness and peace apply the antidote to what is broken inside us that allow sickness and lack to steal our health (and wealth).

His Love & Faithfulness, Right-ness & Peace =Your Health & Wealth

Jesus paid the price to purchase back all that Adam lost and all that The Law required. He overcame all the brokenness by His love and obedience—which is the fulfillment of The Law.

“Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other” (NIV, Psalm 85:10).

Jesus lived this—and He gives this to us.

This gift in Him elevates us to the state of being in Him, where our health and wealth are renewed.

By His Will activated through His death, He wants you to have health and wealth. He wants you to grow in His right-ness, peace and joy, which are His Kingdom within. Then, it grows out of you and impacts others.

Come, receive His gift.

Receive this gift by your faith through His grace.

Exactly like the woman with the flow of blood.

As you receive it for yourself, it becomes a desire to “seek His right-ness” first.
His right-ness and His kingdom provide all your needs.

Daily Prayer Response:

Father, thank You for reconciling the world—and me—to Yourself through Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that though we fell and we broke, You refused to leave us in that state. Thank You for elevating us to the perpetual state of health and wealth, renewed, in our Lord Jesus Christ.

With my faith, I reach out and touch the right-ness of the Lord Jesus Christ. I take off the old self—it is dead and gone in the Lord Jesus Christ. I put on my new self, re-created in my Lord Jesus Christ. I receive from Your governance of the reign of grace. I receive by my faith through Your grace, Your working it out in me–making me right and at peace in all my being in the Lord Jesus Christ. I receive Your clothing me with Your incorruptible life that flows throughout my being. I receive Your re-genesis of my coding. I receive Your redemption and insulation from the manifold corruptions in me and in the world. I receive Your life which makes me shine brightly.

I receive the in-filling of my spirit, soul and body with Your right-ness and peace, Lord Jesus Christ, which come from Your love and obedience through Your faithfulness. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I receive Your restoring and much more, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Establish Your seal on this and rearguard it with Your glory, amen.
