PASTOR MATTHEW MAHER

OCEAN CITY, NEW JERSEY

Psalm 31

In this message, “Trusting The Hand That Holds Time,” Pastor Matthew Maher walks through Psalm 31 — a song of surrender, struggle, and steadfast faith. From David’s cry for refuge to his declaration of confidence, this psalm reminds us that when life feels out of control, our times are still in God’s hands.

When the walls close in, when the world caves in, and when worship finally breaks through — faith learns to rest, not rush. Because peace isn’t found in holding everything together, but in trusting the One who holds all things, including time itself.

About the Author

Matthew Maher is an author, speaker, and pastor. Through various vocations, he aims to inspire conscience and instigate conviction. Matthew has gone from pro to con to Christ (From the heights of success to the flatline of failure). As a professional soccer player, he followed the trends of the world while ignoring the truth of God’s Word.

As a result, in 2009, a life-altering failure would change his trajectory and have him collide head-on with the redemption of the Savior. Now he is no longer persuaded by the trends of the culture around him and is committed to share the truth of Christ within him, whatever the cost.
