Your thundering voice
Is rumbling outside,
Yet I sit here with You
And You live inside.
Your Majesty reigns
Over all of the earth,
Yet You whisper to me
Of my value and worth.
You open the heavens
And loudly declare,
Yet You speak to my heart
And tell me You care.
Volcanoes erupting
And earthquakes abound,
Yet I hear Your voice
With no rumble or sound.
You open the heavens
And declare Your great Name,
Yet You’ve taken my guilt
And removed all my shame.
Oh, the expanse of the oceans,
Valleys and seas,
Yet You bridged the gap
And brought Jesus to me.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above declares His handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
“…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27
