Breaking In

If you want to break into all God has for you, it is crucial for you to allow the Lord to direct every step you take and listen for His Spirit to lead and guide you.

Recently, in a time of prayer, I sensed that this was a breakthrough prayer meeting. I could feel the presence and power of God so tangibly. However, the Lord did not speak to me about breakthrough. Instead, I heard the Lord say, “Breaking in. You are breaking in.” One of the first things that came to my mind when the Lord spoke this word to me was the story of the children of Israel when they were enslaved in Egypt. The Bible says that they cried out for God to deliver them, and He did. However, once they had been delivered, they did not carry that breaking in anointing. They wanted to be delivered but didn’t want to have to do anything with their deliverance. Many people, like the children of Israel,  want the Lord to break them out of bondage, oppression, or certain circumstances. However, they do not want to have to break into what God had called them to do. Many want to be free but don’t want to do anything with that freedom.

This is a season in which many will break into their calling, their destiny, their dream, that business that they’ve always had inside of them, or that ministry they’ve always felt called to step into. This is your season to break into whatever it is that God has assigned for you to do for and in the Kingdom of God. Proverbs 20:24 in the Passion Translation says, “It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny…” Every single step you take is ordained by God to lead you to your destiny. God has led you out of oppression, out of your past sin, out of your bondage, but it is the breaking-in anointing that will lead you into promise instead of just wandering around in the wilderness.

In this season, if you want to break into all God has for you, it is crucial for you to allow the Lord to direct every step you take and listen for His Spirit to lead and guide you. If you will let the Lord be your guide and ordain your steps, then you will break into your destiny. It is only our own stubbornness or unwillingness to follow the leading of the Lord that keeps us out of promise. When the children of Israel left Egypt, if they would have leaned into what God wanted them to do instead of just being satisfied with no longer being in bondage, then they could have reached the promised land in just 12 days! Instead, they had to relearn the same lessons and go through the same tests and trials over and over again until 40 years had passed, and they still hadn’t broken in! Don’t make the same mistakes this season. Incline your ear to the spirit of God, listen for Him to speak, and allow Him to guide you so that you can break into your promise without any further delay.

If you will commit yourself to living your life out loud for God, then you will manifest the Kingdom of God everywhere, and in every situation you find yourself in. Ephesians 1:11 in the Passion Translation says, “Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, He gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in His heart.” This is your season to step into your full inheritance with God. You are going to have to break completely into your God calling, run full throttle toward your God destiny, and do all that He has called you to do. The Lord has not called you to live a good life. He has called you to live the God-life, the one He has destined for you.

Romans 8:28 says in the Passion Translation, “So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are His lovers who have been called to fulfill His designed purpose.”We are the lovers of God and we have been called to fulfill his design and His purpose for each of our lives. This means that every situation, every trial, and every test that you have been through has been woven together by God to lead you to your purpose. To step into the fullness of what God has for you, you will first have to break through the things that are holding you back physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. If you will fully align your life with God, then you will break into your promise and all that God has called you to do. This is your season to break in, my friends!
