David VS Job: A Better Way to Wait
I couldn’t help but see that both of these men were facing incredibly difficult trials. Yet, only one of them showed me a better way to wait on the Lord.
Julie is a lover of Jesus, His Word, and His people. She lives in Dallas with her husband and two Golden Retrievers. When she's not blogging, she can be found in her teardrop trailer glamping in the mountains, photographing a beautiful family in the DFW metroplex, or learning a new song on the guitar. After trying for babies for almost a decade, she fostered an incredible 7-year-old little girl who she remains in contact with to this day. Each day is an adventure and Holy Spirit is teaching her how to trust Him through it all.

It’s hard not to think about how I’d planned for my life to go and what is actually playing out in front of me.
We don’t just praise Him when life is going well or when we’ve made it through the trial we endured. We lift up our hallelujah in the middle of the storm, knowing He’s there with us.
Worshiping God is the most precious thing to me. No matter where I am, it instantly becomes my “thin place” where I can look beyond what I see in the natural.
If you don’t have someone you’re walking next to in life that is leading you towards wisdom, holiness, and godliness, then I pray that our Father would bring someone.
He completely covers our past, forgives and forgets our sin, walks with us in our present, and anoints every step of our future.
Since I have been walking in relationship with Jesus since I was seventeen, I thought I had met God as Father. Then, in 2013, we lost our first baby.
From this Scripture, I know that in a battle, my ONLY job is to praise, worship, and repeat. That is how I fight my battles.
