Now that I am a mother and am building my own Christmas traditions, I look back and know that all the small things matter.
My creativity being shared seems to pull her out a little and bring her back into the story. She’ll do the same for me when she’s in the magical workflow.

I can recognize Alistair Begg’s voice almost anywhere. His voice filled the car when I was a child. It bounced around the living room as I grew up, and has even graced my ears as an adult. He is a timeless teacher that has shaped not only my life but millions of other lives, too.
Just remember the Jesus in Scripture and watch the DVDs through that lens. He is changeless. He did all kinds of amazing things; present-day healing should be no different.
“Rabbi!” I said. Tears of a different kind now began pouring out. There were no more questions. No more confusion. Jesus was here.
With a loud cry, Jesus said, “It is finished!” Immediately, His head hung low, and His knees buckled completely. He was no longer breathing.
I don’t know if anyone else noticed it, but there seemed to be a somberness about Him, and I couldn’t help but be more contemplative as I prepared the meal.
We followed Jesus into Jerusalem, and a crowd began to form on either side of the street. The crowds were larger than usual since people had come to Jerusalem to prepare for Passover.
