Assured of His Faithfulness

His arms are not too short, they are always extended and outstretched, reaching down and reaching out.

Look around!  God’s faithfulness is seen everywhere!  We see lush green, lush pastures, flowers, trees, sunrise’s and sunsets each day.   There is beauty living in Pennsylvania with its many rolling, green hills, soon to be blanketed by cold, white snow.

When I read Psalm 65, in its entirety, I recognized the abundance of God’s faithfulness upon the earth and upon our lives.  His faithfulness never ends! “He takes care of the earth and waters it, making it rich and fertile.  The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain; for He has ordered it so.  The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.”  (Psalm 65: 9, 12)

Our God cares for the earth and makes sure it has what it needs. He provides and cultivates–preparing the land, developing it to produce.

KINGDOM KEY#1:  Letting God cultivate our lives produces everlasting, deep, and blossoming effects. If we stop the process of cultivation, the results will be different, preventing the final effects.

KINGDOM KEY#2: Learning to endure the process when it’s difficult, will affect an outcome.

He knows how long it will take to produce.  The final results are not just for us, but for all.   “The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!”  (Psalm 65: 13)

KINGDOM KEY #3:  What is produced in us, God will use in the lives of others.

His faithfulness blesses us and blesses others.  The picture He is producing is always bigger and more beautiful than what we think or even see.  His faithfulness is wider, He has said, “I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.”  (Exodus 6: 6-7)

KINGDOM KEY #4;  His outstretched arms of faithfulness reach into creation and reach into us, and are always open.

His faithfulness never ends.  His arms are not too short, they are always extended and outstretched, reaching down and reaching out.  He demonstrated this on His final days upon the earth, on the cross.

He created the beauty that we see before us on the earth.  You reflect Him and you reflect that beauty!
