Are You Ready, My Beloved?

Are you ready for the Great Wedding Day? Is your lamp filled with oil and lit? Are you watching for His soon return?

Are you ready, My Beloved?

The time is near,

No time to worry

No need to fear.

Are you ready, My Beloved?

Come away with Me more,

Abide in My Presence

Ask Me for more.

Are you ready, My Beloved?

Can you hear Me calling your name?

Does it bring as much joy to you

As when I hear you do the same?

Are you ready, My Beloved?

For our new life to start?

Where we are joined forever,

Never again to part?

Are you ready, My Beloved?

Can you hear the Father say,

“Make preparations ready

For the Great Wedding Day?”

Are you ready, My Beloved?

To stand by My side,

With Me as your Bridegroom

And you as My Bride?

Are you ready, My Beloved?

Take hold of My hand,

We’ll walk together

Into our promised land.

I am ready, my beloved

I’m here by Your side.

From this day forward

I will abide as Your Bride.

Then he sent out some other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Look, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened calves are butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ Matthew 22:4

Therefore, you [who follow Me] must also be ready; because the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him. Matthew 24:44

“Be dressed and ready for active service, and keep your lamps continuously burning. Luke 12:35

Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7

Father God,

I am ready and watching and praying for that glorious day! I look forward with eager anticipation of what is to come. To stand before You, Lord, and The Father, and we become One for eternity. Never again to be separated. No barriers, no distance between us. How I long for that day. My eyes are fixed on You. My heart is fixed on You. Your Word is engraved upon my heart and I carry it with me always. My one desire is to please You in all that I say and do. May I always bring You honor and Glory while I walk upon this earthly land. May others be drawn to You because You pour forth from within me. May they too seek that special day of all days when we are joined together forever. Until that day arrives, I will always cherish each moment spent with You. Thank You for preparing me for that day. Thank You for choosing me as Your Bride. Amen.
