Are We Exhibiting a Full Assurance of Faith?

What exactly is a full assurance of faith?  It’s a faith that knows no hesitation in trusting in and following Christ.  

My friends, this type of radical faith requires perseverance.  In the book of Hebrews, it says, “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith…”  (Hebrews 10: 22)

How do we draw near to God and preserve this faith?  I believe the answer is in this next scripture:  

“In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”  (Ephesians 3: 12)  

I am finding out that some folks are not comfortable getting close to God.  Why? Many have had a bad image of a good Father in their upbringing, which has brought some hesitation in drawing close to God.  Hesitation affects our trust level with Him.  

He is not like shifting sand, one day one way, and the next day different.  He is Faithful and True.  His love is ever-lasting.  Knowing His character helps our approach to be bold and confident.  

Since the Word of God has answers for us, here are some truths that can help us confidently and assuredly sustain our faith:

If we display confidence we, “Become a letter from Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”  (2 Corinthians 3: 2-3)  

KINGDOM KEY:  Confident and assured faith is revealed and released not with mere words but by the Spirit of the Living God.  

We must live IN HIM and FOR Him.  

• Assured confidence reveals that we share IN Christ.  
• Assured faith supports, grows, and builds up in love.  
• Assured faith will produce confidence to enter the Holy Place into the sanctuary of God’s presence.  

If you’re not there yet, continue IN Him!  This type of living will bring assurance to not only you but to others. There’s always a wider circle that God wants to reach.  The confidence He brings enables us to be confident and reach out, as He reaches in.
