Are We Actively Listening?

His covenant with His children is unfailing love and everlasting life.  We call that salvation!

When we come to Him, we need our ears wide open to listen.

Did you know that there is a difference between hearing and listening?   Hearing involves much more than the reception of sound by the ear. Listening is an active process where the ear receives information, and the brain processes it in ways that make it understandable.

When God asks us to listen, He is asking us to be active and find life in what He is saying.

His covenant with His children is unfailing love and everlasting life.  We call that salvation!

Remember what He promised to David, an unending dynasty, one that would include the coming Messiah.  The resurrection of the Messiah sealed the deal displaying that unending love and covenant to David and to us.

HOW SHOULD WE RESPOND?  Ask God to open our ears so that His voice is prominent and above all other voices.  Learn to listen to His still, small voice, from His Word as we position ourselves to not just hear, but to actively listen with a response.

Come With Open Ears To Listen And Receive,

Mary Beth Pecora

They continue to serve monthly in the Prayer Room at their home church that they have been a part of for almost forty years. In April of 2022 they both received their Ministry License and were Ordained in May of 2023. She delights in encouraging folks of all ages within various walks of life.
