Anointed One

You all have a calling to be My Light in the darkness.

January 5, 2023. I have heard that because someone has a “special” anointing on their life, the enemy attacks them or their children more than others. Another belief is “Higher levels, different devils.”

I think many of you have heard these, too, and wondered about them. This has always bothered me because what parent would ever cause their children to have a target on their back because of what they are called to do, whether it be apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher? So I brought it to Father in prayer. Show me, Father, if this is true, I really need to know, and others want to know. And Father, in Jesus’ name, show us how to combat those attacks if true.

And I heard the Sweet, Loving Voice of the Father ask, “Is one of My Child’s anointing greater than another?”

Well, Lord, we who are born again all have the same Holy Spirit in us, so I don’t think so. We are ALL anointed.

“Yes, My Child, when you are in Christ, you are a “Christian,” which means “Little anointed one.” It means you are LIKE CHRIST. No one in My Kingdom has a “special” anointing. You are ALL ANOINTED by the Precious Holy Spirit. There is no anointing greater or higher.

Is one gift or calling greater than another? There is a variety of gifts, but the same Spirit. None is better than another, for ALL are needed. There is a variety of service and activities, but it is the same Lord who empowers all.

A Body is made up of many members. Each one needed and important. I arrange the members in the Body, each one of them, as I choose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? It could not function. As it is, there are many parts, yet one Glorious Body with Christ as the Head.

You are ALL My Body, and you are ALL important, Beloved. I have anointed you with the Holy Spirit and FIRE!  You all have a calling to be My Light in the darkness. This LIGHT is what the enemy sees in you! Not your gifts or your talents or callings, or a “special anointing,” but he sees MY SPIRIT in you. He sees ME in you.

THE SPECIAL ANOINTING, Who is the Third Person of the Godhead, resides in all who are born again and filled with the Spirit! Do you see now, My Child? Do you see how special you are to Me? You are ALL fearfully and wonderfully made! If one is attacked, you are all attacked, for you are one Body, and ALL come together to fight for the Victory!

The devil goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. It matters not to him what your calling is or what body part you are but only that you are Mine. He sees My Mark on you. He sees My Fire burning in your heart, and he wants to quench it if he can.

But do not fear. I have you covered. You are hidden in Christ. I have armed you with My Word. The weapons of your warfare are MIGHTY through your God! This is a New Covenant we have, Beloved. You are not like Job, who lost everything he had. Job did not have the Spirit dwelling in Him. Job was not hidden in Christ. You are a NEW CREATION with every spiritual blessing!

You are covered in My Glory!  Do not let fear enter your mind and heart. I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.  I do not give the devil free reign in your life. I am a good, good Father. Though bad things happen in this world and afflictions and tribulations abound, I have promised to deliver you from them all.

I have no favorites, for you are ALL in Christ Jesus! I have called you and chosen you and anointed you. Therefore, if one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the Body of Christ and individual members of it.

For thus says the LORD that created you and He that formed you, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.

I will bring your children from the east and gather them from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My Sons from far, and My Daughters from the ends of the earth; Even EVERY ONE that is called by My Name: for I have created you ALL for My Glory, I have formed you; yea, I have made you and I will keep you!”

CHRISTIAN: The original Greek word for Christian is “Christianos” which comes from the two Greek words “Christos” and “tian.” The word Christ means “anointed,” and “tian” means “little, or relating to, or like.” So the word “Christian” literally means “little anointed ones like Christ.” During his life, Jesus was called the “Messiah,” which in Hebrew means “The Anointed One,” and we are his “little anointed ones” who have been anointed by his Holy Spirit to represent Him in this world.

Strong’s Greek 5546: Christian. The name was first given to the worshippers of Jesus by the Gentiles but from the second century (Justin Martyr (e. g. Apology 1, 4, p. 55 a.; dialog contra Trypho, § 35; cf. ‘Teaching, etc. 12, 4 [ET])) onward accepted by them as a TITLE OF HONOR.

Acts 11:26

“And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called CHRISTIANS.”

2 Corinthians 1: 20

“For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him. That is why it is through Him that we utter our Amen to God for His glory. And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has ANOINTED us, and who has also put HIS MARK on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”

Psalm 139:13-14

“For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.”

Psalm 121:5

“The Lord is your KEEPER; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will preserve your life. The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-27

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;  and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;  and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.  To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slavesd or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

For the body does not consist of one member but of many. f the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.”
