My tomorrows are not here
But they beckon afar.
They stir up my fears
That are far out of reach
Just like distant stars.
So to You do I cling
And my tomorrows I bring.
I hand over that thing
That worries me so.
My journey I give
Because I am Yours,
And when my thoughts
Are in turmoil,
You calm my roars.
So help me to trust
And gently let go
And believe You know best
Because You said so.
‘Cause all my tomorrows,
And even my sorrows,
Are wrapped in Your love
Straight from above.
No need then to borrow
Or grab hold of tomorrow
‘Cause each one of my days
Is numbered by You.
They’ll show up on the scene
In the order ordained,
And my tomorrows will bring
Your love with the dew.
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
