A Prayer That Young Men Will Be Discipled Within The Church

I believe in everyone within the church, but young men really need guidance and discipleship. They need spiritual fathers that will train them in the ways of righteousness.

I believe in everyone within the church, but young men really need guidance and discipleship. They need spiritual fathers that will train them in the ways of righteousness. This prayer asks for help within the process of discipling young men in the church. If you believe men need discipleship, then pray this prayer, like it, and share it with a friend.

PRAYER

Jesus, I pray for all the new believers in Your church but, especially, the young men. They’ve been forgiven; now stir them to excel as disciples. Grow their relationship with You, and bring them to a place of intimacy with You. Raise up spiritual fathers within the church that will disciple these new believers. Motivate these mature men to invest in the young men. Raise up young men that overcome the world and all its temptations. Bestow true strength upon them and cause them to drive the kingdom of darkness from their lives, families, and relationships. Do this through the power of Your name. Amen.

1 JOHN 2:12-14, NIV

I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil. I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

CRAZY KINGDOM

Listen to what David Garcia said about my book Crazy Kingdom:

“The kingdom of God is the rulership and government of God over our lives. If we seek first the kingdom of God, Jesus promises not only heaven but a life of abundance now. Cameron King has written an outstanding book on how to apply the principles that Jesus teaches into our daily living. Crazy Kingdom is written in a down-to-earth, easy-to-understand manner intertwined with powerful illustrations which penetrate the reader. Each chapter is a brilliant and witty presentation of some major principles Jesus teaches, and all end with practical applications to an abundant-life mindset, as opposed to the survivor mentality, that is prevalent in our society. We are challenged to put into practice these principles in specific areas of our lives such as “Business,” “Family,” “Creativity,” “Solutions,” “Prayer,” “Health,” and “Financial.” This is one of the best books out there on the subject of the kingdom of God. I highly endorse and encourage everyone to read and apply it!!”
