A Conversation in Redemption

“In my heart I feel that joy and tender move I know so well…
moving moods and welling those rooms of my heart…”

You have done great things:
good things I have beheld;
great blessings you’ve unveiled —
changed me and placed me
above and all throughout.

And I cannot but behold
the glory of your throne…
so close, and now I see
just what have you done for me.

My Lord, my King:
It is to you that I bring
a blessing of my burden
unfit for a King.”

But you’ve commanded me to see
that my cast cares fit you well —
the one who conquered Hell —
and raised up again you are

and forever will be
the King of Glory.

In my heart I feel that joy and tender move I know so well…
moving moods and welling those rooms of my heart,
making me full and over / overflowing I now move,
according to your Spirit’s soothe.

Lifting me up, and you carry me about.
You have made me worthy by your great sacrifice.

A gift I had never known; felt unworthy and alone.

Oh, and there is sun, shining full and bright and long.
Bathing my seated soul in something so strong.

And is it not a clarion call?
Pouring over every hilltop?
Let everything that has breath breathe His name!
Echoes of His glory drown all shame!
Jesus, that name above all names!

Let my soul rest in you alone.
Let my soul’s sound be found true.
In all I speak and in all I do, all glory to You.
